Senator wants headlights on
n
n
Sen. Sam Kitzenberg wants all motorists in the state to drive with their headlights on all the time, but he knows many Montanans don't like being told what to do.
n
nSo his proposed law makes it optional.

n
nI have earlier stated my opinion on this bill but I see a little more information here that I need to comment on.
n
nAn optional law, what the hell is that. Let's pass a law to mandate something and then make it optional? Has Sen. Sam Kitzenberg lost his mind. Why did he introduce this bill if he wanted to make it optional of all things?
n
nIt's optional so it can be made mandatory with fines down the line. Slowly creep that law onto the books, build that fence tighter and tighter. What a plan Kitzenberg has. Will we allow it? People's apathy probably will allow it. Sad to say, isn't it?
n
nGrowing old is mandatory; growing up is optional. Chili Davis
