Boy, the calf weights sure showed it was dry this summer. The steers averaged 527 lbs. and the heifers averaged 478 lbs. Quite a bit under what I had contracted for. That's the breaks and it's what happens in a dry year. I could whine and cry about it or accept it and go on and hope for a better year next year. You do relize it's Next Year Country around here, it will be better Next Year.<br />n<br />n<strong>Hopefully, next year if we can get everything sorted out and together.
