Dry Year
Boy, the calf weights sure showed it was dry this summer. The steers averaged 527 lbs. and the heifers averaged 478 lbs. Quite a bit under what I had contracted for. That's the breaks and it's what happens in a dry year. I could whine and cry about it or accept it and go on…
