Get a Life
My Darling Wife had a morning talk show on and they were commenting on the show about the people that were waiting in line for the new Star Wars film to open tomorrow.
n
nEXCUSE ME PEOPLE, GET A LIFE.
n
nStar Wars is a pretty good movie theme but really,…

Not Planning Ahead
I have been seeing more and more advertising for something called a interest-only home loan and couldn't quite figure out how this worked. The advertising always talks about how much cheaper they are than a normal home mortgage and it's easy to see why since if you don't pay down the principal, logic dictates that…

Parents Gone Wild
What ever happened to civility and sportsmanship. This is disgraceful and criminal. What a great example for the children in our society.
n
nSingle-mindedness is all very well in cows or baboons; in an animal claiming to belong to the same species as Shakespeare it is simply disgraceful. Da Bums
My Darling Wife got a real good picture of 3 of the 4 bums we're raising this year. They are a pain in the ass but it's also fun to have them around watch them buck and play and explore the world.
n
n

Apology
I find this whole story about Newsweek "apologizing" extremely interesting in a number of different ways.
n
nThe first thing I find interesting is the "apology" it self.
n
n
But we regret that we got any part of our story wrong, and extend our sympathies to victims of the violence and…

Joke
Question: What do you have when you have a lawyer buried up to his neck in sand?
n
nThe answer is over at G'day Mate. I enjoyed it.

Cow in Labor
One day, a cattle farmer heard one of his cows lowing out in the mud pit behind the barn. It sounded like she was in hard labor. He went out, and, sure enough, it was a breech.
n
nHe tried to turn the calf around, but it was too late — the legs were…

After Storm Pictures
Luckily there was no flooding around here but we are so high on the drainages that there isn't much area to gather up and cause flooding for us. To start with I have a picture of the snow heavy on the trees and grass.
n
n

<img width='110' height='73' border='0'…

Birthday
One last note on today. Today is my son's birthday and I wish I could be with him. It's still too muddy to get around but by tomorrow it should be okay. I miss my wife and kids so and to miss my son's birthday really hurts.

Friday Cat Blogging
I normally don't do this but I couldn't resist.
n
n
n
nMittens trying not to get his 24 toes any muddier than necessary to follow me.
n
nA cat that catches mice does not meow. Chinese proverb
