Quite a confluence of individuals here. New York bankers, members of an environmental group and Gov. Brian Schweitzer all together to break ground for a power plant. I first saw that Gov. Brian Schweitzer and big New York bankers were together and scratched my head about what the Gov. is trying to finance or sell out through Big New York bankers but I'm probably just being paranoid.
n
nThen it occurred to me, WTH are environmentalists doing here breaking ground for a power plant that pollutes the environment? A little research indicates that this is a gas fired plant which pollutes less than most power plants. I guess that makes them happy and they can just close their eyes to the major growth industry in gas today and it's damaging effects on the environment. Coal Bed Methane (CBM). Pumping potentially contaminated water out of the ground and dumping it into our watersheds. I think they're missing the big picture here and ought to pay a little more attention to what they're supporting.
n
nThey be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Matthew 15:14
