I normally don't watch Andy Rooney but my family was waiting to watch Cold Case and he came on at the end of 60 minutes. He was yabbering about the election when he said something that really caught my attention. I don't have the transcript of his statement it is coming from my memory so it might be a little off.
n
n
Everbody says the media is liberal. I know a lot of journalists and this time around their opinion was pretty evenly split. Half of them loved Kerry and the other half hated Bush.

n
nSounds like a pretty even split to me.
n
nThere should be truth in thought, truth in speech, and truth in action. To the man who has realised this truth in perfection, nothing else remains to be known because all knowledge is necessarily included in it.
nMohandas Gandhi
n
nUPDATE:Here's the actual quote thanks to Randy. I got the gist of it,
n
n
Television did a good job Tuesday night, I thought. I know a lot of you believe that most people in the news business are liberal. Let me tell you I know a lot of them, and they were almost evenly divided this time. Half of them liked Sen. Kerry; the other half hated President Bush.
