Whenever a person starts talking about the current drought in the west, inevetably somebody thinks that global warming is the culprit. According to this article though, the current drought is nothing compared to ancient droughts. Funny thing is that ancient droughts can't have happened because of global warming so blaming this one on it is a little premature in my opinion. Doughts are a fact of life and dealing with them is not fun. This drought is not to bad compared to some "mega-droughts" so I guess I will be happy with the way things are and hope they get no worse.
n
nAny party which takes credit for the rain must not be surprised if its opponents blame it for the drought.
