As a academic exercise this is very interesting. But who are they trying to placate?
n
nAustralia's dingoes probably evolved from a very small group of pets brought by South-East Asian settlers, researchers reported today.
n
nI will point out the word "pet" in this statement.
n
npet: a domesticated animal kept for pleasure rather than utility (Merriam-Webster)
n
nI find it extremely hard to believe that 5000 years ago when people were making the dangerous journey to Australian continent that they would have brought a pet along. These people were coming from the south-east Asia area and dogs have been historically considered a food animal for humans in this area. I personally have to believe that this is why the dog was brought along with them instead of as a pet. That is just ridiculous
n
nEven a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding. Bible: Hebrew Proverbs, 17:28.
