Yea, now we got it. The farmers and ranchers of this state are rolling in the dough and can afford new taxes. Let's forget the fact that the drought has been forcing many of them towards insolvency. They obviously have money to burn so let's tax them more. Debt? They don't have any of that nasty stuff, they are just a fountain of money that we need to tap into. This tax will help them even. Clear up those water rights. so when they are driven out of business by the taxes, they don't have a cloudy title on the land because of a <a href="http://www.billingsgazette.com//index.php?id=1&display=rednews/2004/07/21/build/state/25-water-rights.inc">water rights adjudication</a>. <br />n<br />nLet's just drive those pesky farmers and ranchers out of business, they don't produce anything for the economy of Montana. This will allow them to sell thier places to rich out of staters, who don't want to produce anything, but just have a senic ranch. <br />n<br />nThere are probably some backward thinking individuals out there that think taxes cost money. Hell, as long as you ain't paying the tax, it just don't matter. Tax the bastards more, they deserve it!!! Who needs a strong economy? Raise those taxes!! Strangle those evil businesses!!!
