Curse

I was over at a neighbors branding yesterday, going back today for another, and last day, of branding, and afterwords while I was driving home and looking at the drought situation really made me think. Every time people in the area get together the conversation is about the drought and the saying I hear most often is "at least it keeps life interesting." I have heard there is an old Chinese curse that goes like this:<br />n<br />nMay you live in interesting times.<br />n<br />nI am tired of living in interesting times. Whether this is a Chinese saying or not, I agree that it is a curse. Give me a simple, dull life at this point and I would be happy.<br />n<br />n<b>Many a man curses the rain that falls upon his head, and knows not that it brings abundance to drive away the hunger.
