Helping

Brandings abound. We helped a neighbor brand Saturday and Monday, the same neighbor, and today I have another branding at a different neighbors. I get a lot of help from my neighbors at my branding so I have to help them in return. What I don't quite get is at these brandings I just mentioned, not only do I help them brand, We work cows and do other spring cow work for them. I sometimes wonder why they can't do their work themselves and have to rely on their neighbors. Oh well, no big deal, just galls me once in a while.<br />n<br />nNo rain over the weekend. I just really belive it is never going to rain again. I can remember as a kid that on Memorial Day weekend it would rain. Not little spit showers like we get now, but pour rain all weekend long. My 13 year old daughter does not belive that it can rain for hours at a time. She has not seen a rainstorm in her memory that lasts over two hours. Pretty sad isn't it. How I yearn for a storm that would just pour rain down for days. The grass growing season is about over and just <u>one</u> shot of decent moisture would make such a difference. But alas, none is in the forecast so I get to struggle along and worry and wait.
