Gay Marriage

Is <a href="http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/ap/20040522/ap_on_re_us/gay_marriage_lawsuit">this</a> why people wanted same sex unions? I thought it was so gay couples could bond in a union that was previously denied to them. This makes it sound like the only reason they got married was for the extra money they could sue the doctors for. Not a very good plug for the cause of same sex marriage.<br />n<br />nRAIN UPDATE: Got around 1/10 of an inch.
