I know exactly how <a href="http://www.billingsgazette.com//index.php?id=1&display=rednews/2004/05/02/build/business/30-steel-trap.inc">these contractors</a> feel. I went to town the other day and bought 200 steel posts for maintainece on my fences around the place. The guy told me I was awful lucky, and these were only $2.40 a post. They only had around 1000 left in stock and they had ordered a bunch more in. He said the new ones, with the price of steel going up, were going to be $.50 more a post. I couldn't belive it. I had heard steel prices were going up but I had no idea they were going up that much. I can't imagine being in the construction buisness and having to swallow these kinds of price increases.
