Partisan Politics Rule the Day

Boone gets Senate panel endorsement
n
n
The Senate State Administration Committee on Friday sent the nomination of Ingomar rancher Stan Boone to the Board of Livestock to the full Senate with a "do confirm" recommendation.
n
nThe vote was along party lines, with six Democrats in favor and five Republicans opposed.

n
nI wrote earlier about my opinion of the Stan Boone nomination. I see that Partisan Politics ruled the day though. Democrats, especially at the national level, supporting the lawbreaker and the Republicans opposing him. Opposite of what we are used to seeing from the parties. Usually all we hear from the Democrats is how some person broke the law and need to be opposed or ousted. I guess the old saying that power corrupts is true. Gov. Brian Schweitzer really screwed up on this one.
n
nPower tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Lord Acton
n
