If a <a href="http://www.billingsgazette.net/articles/2007/01/20/news/state/62-tax.txt">local option sales tax</a> is such a good thing, why not just make life easy and make it a state wide sales tax? That way everybody can get involved in the thing. Making it local option just gives certain areas the choice to build that fence tighter and tighter while building different fences all over the place. It makes more sense, if there is any sense to this at all, to just let the state build one strong fence and be done with it.<br />n<br />n<strong>Working toward this goal of helping local businesses grow, I have been an ardent supporter of reducing the tax burden.
