You're tax money and childrens tuition at work. The athletic department at University of Montana has a $1 million deficit. Among the problems is a $381,000 accounting error. Now I thought that college was where people went to learn how not to make mistakes like this or is this just the quality of education that UM provides. I note in the article the quote "You have to spend money to make money.'' Is this person trying to say that he spent $1million to gain $78,000 in "foundation funds?" Doesn't sound like a very good return on investment to me. One last thing I note is all the expense for alcohol. A lot of drinking obviously goes on in the athletic department. I, in my ignorance, didn't realize that alcohol was such a staple for athletes. Must be some kind of performance-enhancing drug.
n
nBacchus hath drowned more men than Neptune.
