<a href="http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000080&sid=axd6YYeYJ8DI&refer=asia">South Korea to Resume U.S. Beef Imports as Agreed</a><br />n<br />n<blockquote>South Korea, which was the third- biggest buyer of U.S. beef in 2003, will resume imports from the U.S. after confirming a cow infected with mad-cow disease in Alabama was born before feed restrictions were imposed.<br />n<br />nSouth Korean veterinarians confirmed the cow was born before April 1998 after visiting the U.S., the country's Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry said in an e-mailed statement today. The confirmation means inspections procedures that were suspended last month will be resumed. </blockquote><br />n<br />nNow if we could just get Japan to open up it's market again it would be nice.
