Snow

We got another taste of winter yesterday and last night. <a href="http://bigskyblog.com/?p=470">Dave</a> was wondering how much and when I wandered out this morning I would say 6 inches or a little more with 12 inch drifts where I looked. It could be a little more, hard to tell in the dark and it's still snowing lightly this morning.<br />n<br />nHere are a couple of pictures from yesterday morning feeding the two-year olds.<br />n<br />n<center><a href='http://www.sarpysam.net/gallery/Yearlings/heifer11272005'><img width='250' height='188' border='0' hspace='5' src='http://www.sarpysam.net/gallery/albums/Yearlings/heifer11272005.thumb.jpg' alt='' /></a></center><br />n<br />n<center><a href='http://www.sarpysam.net/gallery/Yearlings/feed11272005'><img width='250' height='188' border='0' hspace='5' src='http://www.sarpysam.net/gallery/albums/Yearlings/feed11272005.thumb.jpg' alt='' /></a></center><br />n<br />nWith all the snow I might have to start feeding the cows a little. I will make that decision in a few days but one things for sure, this snow is here to stay. Not like the others that have melted off, this one won't melt off until spring thaw. Winter is truly here.<br />n<br />n<b>If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome. Josh Billings</b>
