The Right to Assemble

Amendment I to our Constitution.
n
nCongress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
n
nIf this is the case, Why do I read this morning such an interesting headline?
n
nPeace mom found guilty of improper protesting
n
nNow I might not have a lot of truck for the way Cindy Sheehan goes about her activities, but she does have the right to do them. More of our right and freedoms down the toliet. Where will it stop?
n
nAnd that's what the war on terrorism is going to do – we're going to lose countless amounts of money, people are going to die and get locked up, but that's it. There's going to be no good coming out of it. We're going to lose our civil rights, and they're going to be gone forever. Aaron McGruder
