Feedlot Pictures – Thoughts From The Middle of Nowhere

The person I sold my calves to this year was the same guy I sold my scrubs to last year. He e-mailed me some pictures that I wanted to share. n n<center><a href='http://www.sarpysam.net/gallery/feedlot/100_0704?full=1'><img width='250' height='188' border='0' hspace='5' src='http://www.sarpysam.net/gallery/albums/feedlot/100_0704.thumb.jpg' alt='' /></a></center> n nThe above is the last of the scrubs from last year he still has on hand. I would have never bet the garbage he bought would ever look this good and I and if I did bet I would have lost. Damn fine looking critter if you ask me. n n<center><a href='http://www.sarpysam.net/gallery/feedlot/100_0702?full=1'><img width='250' height='188' border='0' hspace='5' src='http://www.sarpysam.net/gallery/albums/feedlot/100_0702.thumb.jpg' alt='' /></a></center> n nThese are this year calves settling down and looking really nice in the Kansas sun. He said that none had been sick so far and they were doing really well. He is going to pick out 100 of the best and really push them to see how fast he can get them fat.
