Some people show an appaling lack of responsibility in their actions. Take this example of a bus driver hitting a child and then driving away. He checks on her, then gets back on the bus and leaves her bleeding in the street. What was he thinking? If you read the article the real shocking part is at the end.
n<!–more–>
nNow I don't know the details of the whole accident but it reports that in the same area, earlier in the school year, another child was hit by a bus and killed. The driver of this bus is only getting charged with two misdemeanors. Careless driving and driving with disregard for schoolchildren. Now I will repeat, I don't know the details of the accident, but on the surface these charges seem mild to me. Well I guess I should consider myself lucky. The bus driver on my childs route seems to be a little more responsible than that. In fact one time a tractor-trailer rig almost run him off the road one time and he caught up with the guy(since he had to stop for other reasons), chewed him out, and turned him in to the police. Now that shows responsibility.
n
nIt is our responsibilities, not ourselves, that we should take seriously.
nPeter Ustinov
