Influence

So, having all the big name energy companies in Montana sponsor a large part of Gov. Brian Schweitzer's upcoming energy conference doesn't mean they won't get special consideration.
n
nBULLSHIT!!!!!
n
nThey wouldn't be footing the bill if they didn't think it would help them somehow. [sarcasm]Remember, these are the evil public companies that screw people over at every opportunity[/sarcasm]. Just keeping their names in front of government officials and buying their booze for them will make those people look favorable at them. Everybody knows it so why deny it.
n
nGov. Schweitzer really needs to consider some other funding for this because this makes the whole thing look dirty. Letting the energy companies peddle their influence at a "public conference" is the wrong way of looking at things. But that's not unusual for our Governor.
n
nThe secret of my influence has always been that it remained secret. Salvador Dali
