ICE

'ICE' can help emergency workers
n
n
In case of an emergency, you might want to put the letters "ICE" in front of your loved ones' names on your cell phone.
n
nThe idea is to tip off emergency workers who they can call in case you're in an accident and can't communicate.

n
nOkay, interesting idea. Can anybody tell me what ICE stands for or is supposed to indicate to emergency workers? That maybe should be part of the story.
n
nIt's a question of whether we're going to go forward into the future, or past to the back. Dan Quayle
n
nUPDATE: Thanks for the help. Both Craig and John have informed me that ICE stands for In Case of Emergency. Damn, makes sense but i couldn't figure it out. Sure would have been nice if the reporter in the story told us this.
