I see they are starting to talk about a La Niña which means a cooler, wetter winter in our area. I have mixed feelings about this. I understand for snow pack and irrigation purposes the talk of a cooler and wetter winter weather is a good thing.
n
nI don't rely on snow pack or irrigation so that thought isn't important to me. All I can see is that they are talking that it could be colder and wetter from January through March and since I calve in February and March, that means nastier weather for calving. I DON'T NEED THAT!!!
n
nThey also say that La Niña doesn't always deliver as reliable as El Niño so maybe they will be wrong. I can hope.
n
nHe that lives upon hope will die fasting. Benjamin Franklin
