Feeding The Wolf

I would like to thank Wulfgar for this one. I enjoyed it tremendously.
n
nThe Wolves Inside You
n
n An elder Native American was teaching his grandchildren about life. He
n said to them, "A fight is going on inside me.. it is a terrible fight and it is
n between two wolves. One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret,
n greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false
n pride, superiority, and ego.
n
n The other stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity,
n humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth,
n compassion, and faith."
n
n "This same fight is going on inside you, and inside every other
n person, too", he added.
n
n The Grandchildren thought about it for a minute and then one child
n asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"
n
n The old Cherokee simply replied… "The one you feed."
n
nI've always known this but never been able to put it so succinctly. It sure explains why people act the way they do.
