Teen charged with attempted murder for hockey stick assault
n
n
A 15-year-old Billings boy accused of beating another 15-year-old boy with a hockey stick after being stabbed in the leg was charged as an adult Tuesday in District Court with attempted murder.
n
nJohnny Allen Washee Jr. pleaded not guilty to attempted deliberate homicide. Judge Russell Fagg set his bond at $5,000 and said a transfer hearing will be scheduled later to determine whether Washee's case should remain in District Court or be sent to juvenile court.
n
nWashee is accused of attacking a boy identified only by the initials C.H. The boy remains in serious condition at the Billings Clinic intensive care unit with head injuries, Deputy County Attorney Scott Twito said at Washee's arraignment.

n
nThis story is unbelievable. I can't follow all the what happened to who, when very well but a couple of things really jump out at me. Why were these kids out and about, drunk at such an hour is beyond me. Where are their parents? Parental responsibility, or lack thereof, plays a large role in what happened here.
n
nAnother thing about this is the intensity if the beating.
n
n
Washee then hit C.H. twice with a hockey stick and C.H. fell to the ground. Washee then stood over C.H. and continued to hit him 15 to 20 times, until the hockey stick broke.
n
nOne witness said Washee "held the hockey stick like a sword, lifting it behind his head and coming down on C.H.'s body with all of his force," court records state.

n
n"Continued to hit him 15 to 20 times, until the hockey stick broke." That just astounds me for some reason. Continuing to club him that way. Scary. Did you notice the picture of the boy though. Such a vacant, non-caring expression. I really wonder about our society at times and this is one of those times. Just unbelievable.
n
nThe evil that men do lives after them; The good is oft interred with their bones.
