"I can't wait to take the baby swimming and out for walks in the pram. I think I'll be able to cope as I've had lots of practice looking after my brothers.
n
n"I can give up smoking at any time, but I don't find it affects my pregnancy."
n
nThe girl's mother, who is supporting her daughter, is 34 and has an eight-month-old baby boy of her own. She said: "I'm not ashamed of my daughter. In fact, I'm proud of her for keeping her baby."

n
nThis story just amazes me. An 11 year old girl has a drunken night out, gets pregnant, and it's okay with her mom. She smokes a pack a day of cigarettes, but it doesn't affect her pregnancy, and all these things are all right with her mom. I can't even think of the words to say for this. Appalling, unbelievable, or what. What this mom is using for brains and moral guidance is beyond me. This says something about society in general and it ain't a good thing.
n
nMorality is the basis of things and truth is the substance of all morality. Mohandas Gandhi
