Not Necessary

We have an announcment that there is a possible new case of BSE in the US and now what do I see?
n
nSeoul to reconsider imports of US beef if mad cow case confirmed: official
n
n
South Korea may again ban imports of U.S. beef if tests confirm a suspected mad cow case in the United States reported over the weekend, a South Korean government official said Monday.

n
nDoesn't this possible case just show that are system of monitoring for BSE is in place and working. It has thrown around 6 false positives all ready and even if this isn't a false positive our monitoring is set up to catch such things. Also South Korea only allows imports of meat from animals under 30 months of age. Bse is not found in animals this young and is not a problem. Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill.
n
nWe live in an age when unnecessary things are our only necessities. Oscar Wilde
