This picture was from earlier but it feels the same now. These warm temperatures are weird. I am not complaining right now. It makes it easier on the cattle and they don't eat as much hay with the warm temperatures but it really makes you wonder what's coming down the line. Hot, dry temperatures all summer to or what. I remember it was this way last winter and then we got sufficient moisture in the spring to make a really good year. All I can do is hope and pray that the same thing happens this year. The drought definitely is still in play.
n
nWorm or beetle – drought or tempest – on a farmer's land may fall, Each is loaded full o' ruin, but a mortgage beats 'em all.
