Here on the ranch I classify all my female Bovine critters by age. There are the:
n
nCows – three years old and up
nTwo- year olds- self explanatory
nYearlings- In their first year, self explanatory too
nCalves- first year of life
n
nThe reason I bring this up is it's funny how my viewpoint changes. The two-year old having a calf, even though it was premature, shifted my viewpoint. Everything moved up a year. Last years two-year olds are all of a sudden cows in my book, yearlings are two-year olds, since one had a calf, and the calves are now yearlings since I have a new crop of calves coming along. So, instead of a picture of the calves this morning I present a picture of the newly designated yearlings eating their hay as the sun comes up.
n
n

n
nHopefully by explaining all this I won't confuse anybody when presenting pictures.
n
nThere are things I can't force. I must adjust. There are times when the greatest change needed is a change of my viewpoint. Denis Diderot
