Ten Days

10 days of snow breaks record
n
nLike I said I could use a break and that headline says it all. We never seem to have gotten much but every day does wear on a person and it wears on the cattle. Yesterday morning the snow and 50 MPH winds were very obnoxious and caused some drifting problems and then it snowed quite a bit more last night. Is it too much to ask for the state to plow the highway when it's snowing? Last night there was 3 inches of fresh snow on the highway with winds and drifts building up and not a snowplow on the highway. I will be curious what the bus driver thinks this mornig. Twice now through this he has stated the road should be closed because it is so dangerous and nothing bothers him. In the years he has been driving he has never said that before and has even run the bus down the highway when it was closed. A little warm tempartures would be nice.
n
n

n
nHere is the yearlings coming in for feed yesterday morning after the snow and cold overnight temperatures. I know the cattle could use a break from it all. Thw Weather Service is giving a hint it might be breaking in a few days. We can hope.
n
nLord save us all from a hope tree that has lost the faculty of putting out blossoms. Mark Twain
