Opinion

This is only true if you buy cows instead of raise your own and you believe the drought is over. I don't mind the higher prices since I raise my own replacements instead of buying them. I get a better quality product that way.
n
nI could run 25% more cows than I am right now if I knew I was going to grow enough grass to feed them in another year. I'm just not sure though. I have been working my numbers up slowly for a couple of years now since I feel in my bones it is a safe move. We're slowly going to come out of this drought and be able to run a few more cows, at least that's my opinion.
n
nPredictions of the future are never anything but projections of present automatic processes and procedures, that is, of occurrences that are likely to come to pass if men do not act and if nothing unexpected happens; every action, for better or worse, and every accident necessarily destroys the whole pattern in whose frame the prediction moves and where it finds its evidence.
