Firefox Alert

It's amazing how the more people use a product the more vulnerabilities are discovered. Firefox, one of my browswers, has a new security alert that is rated extremely critical. The site recommends turning off javascript which can be done in the preferences. On the firefox forums they say to disable the "Allow web sites to install software" option. I am doing both until the problem is fixed.
n
nThe problems of this world are only truly solved in two ways: by extinction or duplication. Susan Sontag
