Some times you have to be a little flexible in your plans. I had planned on shipping some cows and bulls out to market tomorrow for the Wednesday market but it looks like some weather is on its way. We are under a winter storm watch and have a 100% chance of moisture tonight into tomorrow. With our dirt roads that means no cattle going out of here tomorrow.
n
nSo, I called the truck driver at 6:00 a.m. that was going to haul them tomorrow to see if he could haul them today. No problem for him so we got them in on the run, they were way out in pasture and the plan was to move them closer to the corral today, this morning and the first truck load is down the road and I expect him back this afternoon for the other semi load. Sometimes you have to be flexible on these things. I don't like them having to spend an extra day standing in the yards but I really wanted them out of here so a change was made.
n
nA: Everything changes.
nB: But not enough.
n
nMason Cooley
n
nUPDATE: Damn, my spelling is horrible on the title of this post and nobody told me? I fixed it but please point out when I goof up that bad, I would appreciate it.
