Everybody at least one time or another has come across the seven deadly sins. Anger, gluttony, sloth, envy, pride, lust and greed. This list has been around for about ever so somebody in Britan did a poll to see what the seven sins in today's society should be. The answer was; cruelty, adultery, bigotry, dishonesty, hypocrisy, greed and selfishness.
n
nI'm not sure that I agree with either list. I kind of think sloth should be on the new list and selfishness could be dropped. What changes do you think there should be?
n
nThe seven deadly "sins" are also called the deadly "vices," which is more accurate. They are basic, perhaps universal human tendencies, from which sins result. The vice of anger spawns the sin of violence against others and the vice of greed gives birth to the sin of theft.
