It seems to be <font color=red>a red letter day</font> here. I actually <a href="http://www.helenair.com/articles/2005/02/01/montana/a01020105_06.txt" target="_new">agree with Governor BS</a> for a change. Mine our coal recourses, generate power and ship the power out of the state. I have been advocating this for years. The only question I have is why are we discriminating by only wanting to ship the power to the west coast? I read somewhere at one time that Montana is one of the few major link points between the east coast and the west coast power grids. Why not try to set it up to ship power both ways? Seems logical to me.<br />n<br />nI will also point out that one of the biggest obstacles to this kind of development that he is not talking about is the coal severance tax.
