Rep. Gary Branae, D-Billings, is sponsoring the legislation at the behest of the state Office of Public Instruction and introduced the bill at the first meeting of the House Education Committee. The bill calls on the state to send schools $1,000 for each certified staff member.

n
nCan somebody explain to this dumb cowboy why this is a good idea. I know the courts have decided the State doesn't fund the schools properly so the answer is to pay them for the number of teachers instead of the number of students. I don't quite see the logic. Logic and Government, what an oxymoron.
n
nLogic and fact keep interfering with the easy flow of conversation. Mason Cooley
