Calves

Tried to get some pictures today of the cattle. The light wasn't good enough and most of them didn't turn out. I did get a good one though of the replacment heifers eating cake.<br />n<br />n<img src="http://www.nowherethoughts.net/pics/calves12102004.jpg"><br />n<br />nSome people have asked what "cake" is and you can see it laying on the ground in front of them. I use it for a protien supplement this time of year for all the cattle since the dried grass has none in it. Once I start feeding hay strong it is not as important but right now it is. This is only the 4th day we have fed these calves the cake so they are doing real well going to eat it so good.<br />n<br />n<b>A picture is a poem without words. Horace</b>
