It's one of those things I shake my head about. It's raining again this morning. All spring and summer we can't get a resonable amount of rain to save our souls and now since the middle of September we can't get it to quit. Lukily it stayed dry enough through shipping to get the calves out of here but since, we are living in a loblolly.
n
nDon't get me wrong, I am not complaining too much, I would like to get the rest of my calves, 80 head, out of here and get the rest of my hay in , another 600 ton, but at this point it is going to have to wait until the road freezes to do these things. That will probably be after the 1st of December but that's the way things go. The real good thing in all of this is the moisture we are building up in the ground for next year. A guy from Billings was here yesterday and he said they would kill around there for the amount of moisture I had. Sorry, can't order it where people want it.
n
nMy Darling Wife calls the whole phenomenon of no rain, lots of rain, "feast or famine." I have to agree.
n
nSunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather. John Ruskin
