I see that Microsoft is coming out with a keyboard that has a <a href=http://news.com.com/Microsoft+under+your+thumb/2100-1041_3-5349583.html?tag=nefd.top">built in fingerprint reader</a>. I'm not to sure that this is a good idea. Are you going to trust a company with your fingerprint that designs software to send information back to the company about the <a href="http://www.theregister.co.uk/2002/02/21/small_ms_dvd_privacy_invasion/">Windows Media Player</a> and movies you watch? What are they going to compile a database of what everybody watches and then will store the fingerprint to go along with it or is the next Windows offering going to require a fingerprint to get it to work? Maybe I am being a little paranoid here but this is just ripe for abuse.<br />n<br />n<b>Technology â€Â¦ is a queer thing.
