Solar

I caught this story over at J-Walk Blog and don't get me wrong it is really neat, but it more reminds me of one of my favorite movies. Now you have to remember the movies I like are movies that show how people can overcome adversity in an inspirational way and this movie fits the bill.
n<!–more–>
nRace The Sun is based on a true story about a bunch of high school kids in Hawaii who are always being told by peers, teachers, and family that they are losers and won't accomplish anything. They build a solar car and end up taking it to the World Solar Challenge in Australia and racing it. Above and beyond the Halle Berry eye candy, it is a very uplifting movie for kids showing that you can succeed if if people tell you that you are incapable. My daughters hate it when I pull it out and we watch it but I am trying to show them they can succeed in whatever they want no matter what the obstacle if they really want to. My kind of movie. Family friendly and inspirational.
n
nIn order to succeed in a profession, a person not only needs to have its good, but also its bad qualities.
