Wolves Again

Change in wolf status proposed
n
n"The recovery of wolf populations in the Rockies and the Great Lakes area has been one of the most notable success stories of the Endangered Species Act," Norton said
n
nI will point out that Interior Secretary Gale Norton said Rockies in this statement. So why not remove the wolf from the endangered species list in Montana too? The Feds have accepted Montana's wolf management plan, whether I agree with it or not is beside the point, so why punish us? I know why, but it doesn't make much sense to me. The Feds are mad at Wyoming and are taking it out on Montana and Idaho. How mature they are, wouldn't you say.
n
nPeople are no longer sinful, they are only immature or underprivileged or frightened or, more particularly, sick. Phyllis McGinley
