I know as much about Los Angeles street gangs as they know about cattle production. Zero!! What I do recognize is somebody trying to do something about it. In my mind, Rev. Gregory Boyle is a hero for the work he is doing. Instead of waiting for politicians to do something about the gang problems, he is out there doing it on his own where politicians would just use rhetoric to try and solve it. This takes a special breed of person to do this kind of work and they should be saluted for thier work. The funny thing is that is not what they want, they just want to help people.
n
nYou cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.
