Well, nobody wanted to play on my Quiz. I was going to show you pictures as I worked on it but since nobody would play I will just show you the finished product. My son has a birthday coming up so we were going to give this to him for his birthday. His older sisters complained that they never got anything so fancy so we had to change and it is no longer a birthday present it is therapy equipment. The boy's Occupational Therapist, he is autistic, tells us that swinging and sliding are good for him and that playing will also help bring his physical tone up. Well I'll do anything I can to help the boy and in the long run building it is cheaper than driving an hour to the nearest public park so there was no real decision. He loves it to say the least. I finished it on Saturday and he played on it for 3 hours and wanted more. Then this morning he let himself out the door, new for him, and was going to play on the swing. I told him that we couldn't since we were going to town to meet his grandmother for Mother's day. He was not happy, we will let him play tomorrow. Come to think about it if I call it therapy equipment instead of a present, maybe it will be tax deductible. I will have to check into that.
n
nThe greatest gift is a portion of thyself.
