Some days reading the news in the morning is very depressing. It is never the same thing that gets me in a funk but this time I know what it is. I am tired of reading about the drought (here, here, here, here, and here). It is like a really bad itch. You know you shouldn't scratch it but you do. Same with the drought news, I shouldn't read it but I do. I guess the best I can do is to keep struggling along and see what happens.
n<!–more–>
nI also noted this story this morning in a lot of places. It has been speculated that the reason this worm keeps shutting computers down is that the code was written badly. I doubt it. I think the writer wanted it to make a big splash so he could see how effective it was so that he can write more sinister code that isn't as obvious if this one worked well. Since this one worked so well you can bet there is a more siister follow on attack on the way. BTW it only affects Windows computers. I am so glad I use Linux now.
n
nWhat may seem depressing or even tragic to one person may seem like an absolute scream to another person, especially if he has had between four and seven beers.
