Owing Taxes

I read this story this morning and really wonder how accurate their figures really are or is it like UM's athletic budget and full of accounting errors. Recently I recieved a letter threatening dire consequences upon my person from the IRS since the Ranch failed to file its taxes last year. Well I knew this was wrong so had to dig in my records and find the info and sure enough they were. I have procured the following evidence as to their mistake;
na. Proof via certified mail that I mailed the taxes in.
nb. Proof they recived them via return recipt by Post Office.
nc. Canceled check of amount payed to IRS for taxes.
nI have yet to hear whether the evidence presented is enough to clear my good name or not. This just is an one example of errors on the IRS's part that is making up their "free rides" as they put it. I am not saying all the amount owed is errors like mine, I just wonder how much owed is actually an error on their part.
n
nAn error doesn't become a mistake until you refuse to correct it.
