Duh, hasn't the person that wrote this ever heard of the simple economic principle of supply and demand. I ain't even college educated and I understand that one. I have to admit though, that even with the <acronym title="Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy">BSE</acronym> scare it has been a good year for beef producers and it is shaping up to be another good year, if we get the moisture to grow some grass.<br />n<br />n<i>Previous cyclical booms in the beef business have benefited meatpackers and retailers while leaving ranchers with little additional benefit.</i><br />n<br />nI would agree, a <u>little</u> better trickle down has occurred this time and making everybody in the industry smile a little more.<br />n<br />n<b>That's the way things come clear.
