Yesterday while feeding I noted a cow had foot rot. So I decided we needed to go back and get her in to doctor her. The hired man and I got our horses and rode out to the <a href="http://www.nowherethoughts.net/pics/cows.jpg" onclick="window.open('http://www.nowherethoughts.net/pics/cows.jpg','popup','width=881,height=381,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false">cows</a> to find the cow that needed doctored. The cows have really been calving along and there were quite a few calves on the feed ground. This <a href="http://www.nowherethoughts.net/pics/redcalf.jpg" onclick="window.open('http://www.nowherethoughts.net/pics/redcalf.jpg','popup','width=584,height=375,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false">calf</a> really caught my eye and so did <a href="http://www.nowherethoughts.net/pics/broccalf.jpg" onclick="window.open('http://www.nowherethoughts.net/pics/broccalf.jpg','popup','width=620,height=470,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false">this</a> one. You always have to be careful when messing around with young calves as their moms stand <a href="http://www.nowherethoughts.net/pics/guardcow.jpg" onclick="window.open('http://www.nowherethoughts.net/pics/guardcow.jpg','popup','width=485,height=782,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false">guard over them</a> very closely. We had no particular problem finding the cow we were looking for and got <a href="http://www.nowherethoughts.net/pics/footrot.jpg" onclick="window.open('http://www.nowherethoughts.net/pics/footrot.jpg','popup','width=532,height=518,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false">her</a> in to the corral and doctored her. The <a href="http://www.nowherethoughts.net/pics/yearlings.jpg" onclick="window.open('http://www.nowherethoughts.net/pics/yearlings.jpg','popup','width=861,height=399,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false">yearlings</a> looked on in interest while we doctored the sick cow. Now I have to admit I normally don't carry a camera with me but I knew there was a couple of calves that My Darling Wife would love to see pictures of. You see she just loves pictures of the occasional <a href="http://www.nowherethoughts.net/pics/whitecalfs.jpg" onclick="window.open('http://www.nowherethoughts.net/pics/whitecalfs.jpg','popup','width=720,height=369,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false">white faced calf</a> and there happens to be two brand new ones running around right now. Hope you enjoy the pictures Hon. <br />n<br />n<b>The greatest gift is a portion of thyself. Ralph Waldo Emerson</b>
