<a href="http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/politics/8097618.htm">House Votes to Reward Asteroid Chasers</a>. $3000 reward to amateurs for discovering and tracking near-Earth asteroids. My question is what good does this do us? Give us a couple of days warning to kiss our ass's goodbye instead of it being a surprise.
