Trouble

I jinxed myself. I stated the other night that <a href="http://www.nowherethoughts.net/sarpysam/archives/000201.html">calving heifers was going well</a>. So what happened yesterday morning. A heifer has a monster, breech calf that I am unable to do anything with. Most of the time I can handle a breech calf but this monster was just too big. Luckily it froze just enough that we loaded her in the ambulance (stock trailer) and took her into town to get a c section. Mother and calf are doing fine but I just this morning managed to get them home since again I had to wait till the road froze up. They spent most of the day in the ambulance at the end of our road until it froze. Teach me to say calving is going good. Just jinxes me.<br />n<br />n<b>Trouble shared is trouble halved.
